It is a common misconception for Skaters to keep their feet warm by wearing very thick Merino/Winter socks – the result is often the opposite. Thick socks in correctly fitted boots will create unnecessary pressure on your feet and reduce blood circulation. In order to keep your feet warm and dry, you need socks that are breathable, moisture-wicking and thin or medium-thick. Thin microfiber socks will also greatly improve boot & blade feedback thus allowing the Skater to be more responsive.

Cold feet on the Ice (other than the nature of the sport), is caused by the design of Ice Boots.

These are the warmest skating pants in the world (and best style). It is made of Polar fleece, breathable, great insulation, super light and most importantly – it fits beautifully. It runs from size 6 to XL, very stretchy and very strong. It doesn’t form pearls and it will return to its original fit every time after wash. I personally have 2 pairs which I wear everyday throughout the winter, I’m on my third year of use now and they are still in perfect condition (except for a hole in one of them when my blade stabbed into it..).
